MarketOffice furnitureChallengeThe Alternativ business is founded on designing and furnishing offices.Like many design bureaus, Alternativ is unable to compete on price alone and uses design and creativity as a key differentiator.The challenge was to create a design-oriented website reflecting Alternativ’s added value.ResultA new logo, a new baseline and an advanced flash website that received a massive number of prices for… its design ;-). On the technical side, the Alternativ website was one of the first full flash websites that could be indexed in Google and that could be managed with a Flex CMS!

In 2008, a “van-bar” circulated throughout the summer music festivals.To support this action on-site, Minute Maid chose to use the Internet.ResultWith the aim of remaining consistent with Minute Maid's strategy, “my media is rich” implemented an original concept allowing users to make up a music cocktail, to give it a name and to invite as many friends as possible to taste it. The host having invited the most friends won a party for all his or her friends with complimentary cocktails served from the Minute Maid Van-bar.

Since we wanted this to be user-centric, it made sense that this funny element should be a Funny look. We wanted to offer a very intuitive tool for the FunnyLook builder. A lot of work was done to explain the steps, give tips and advice to the user, so that even a grandmother could build her FunnyLook. As a result, without any marketing, not even a press release, we stand today with an average of 1,000 visits and a 100 new Funny Looks per day.

Every bookshop received an email inviting them to discover Panini’s new "Secret"' product. By clicking on the link, the newsagent would find a female presenter in a “Simpson-type” newsagent set. It only took a few minutes to present the new album, media plan and to invite the newsagent to make his order.

Delivering information to visitors and employees

MarketChemical & pharmaceutical industryChallengeSolvay wanted the capacity to deploy an internal television channel. Apart from supporting HD videos, one of the key criteria for the solution chosen lay in the simplicity of the content management tool.ResultIn a first while, the persons in charge of the project were seduced by the solution proposed by “my media is rich” because its digital signage contains a Media Library allowing the management of any type of format, from a simple PPT to a Flash file or a QuickTime or FLV H.264 (HD format). Secondly, because this Digital Signage is cross-platform: its AIR component can be set up on a Mac Mini or on a PC, whether it runs with Windows or with LINUX. Finally, the CMS associated to this application allows updating media, selecting a template, creating play lists and managing agendas in a few drag & drops.

On January 2, all the participants to the European project saw the video message delivered on a USB key.

Each month, the KPI are analysed in every detail. Every team automatically receives a status of its achievements in relation with its objectives, its position and a detailed view of each KPI, proving an interesting means to exploit rich media in internal communication.
